Jimbo Gibbons

Jimbo is the "Ringo" of the group. Not only is he the drummer and singer, he is also a world-class percussionist. He and Slim often perform a musical tribute to George Harrison during the show, with Slim playing sitar and Jimbo on tablas, a type of Indian drums.

Jimbo, aka Jzheeem, Kimo, Jimmy McLennonSon, has been playing drums to Beatles music since he was 7 years old. As Tommy would say, "It's in his DNA!" Born in Hollywood, California (Dad is an actor), Jimbo also loves playing a wide assortment of rhythm instruments, including tabla, djembe and latin gear. "I love playing live shows", he'll tell you. Yeah, Jimbo's kind of a "wild man," and enjoys nothing more than putting on a killer show with his pals. If you happen to be wandering mountain or desert locales on a full-moon night, you just might hear an echo of shaman drum or djembe. Follow the sounds and join him! And check out his Music MySpace page listed under his "Jzheeem" name at http://www.myspace.com/jzheeem. Listen to "Rainbow Covered Hogan," and let him know what you think!
