Tommy is the lead singer and guitarist for the band. A fan of George Harrison's music, Tommy put this band together in the winter of 2006 to pay homage to the life and music of George Harrison on the 5th anniversary of his death.
Tommy also performs as a solo artist, fronts his own band "Tommy" and Tie Dye Butterfly, as well as performs with The Overtones and Ringo McLennonSon. In his 25 years of playing, he has worked as a guitarist, singer, songwriter, keyboardist, bassist, engineer, producer and as a studio musician. On top of his guitar skills, his voice ranges from smoky bar room blues to Philly R & B to The Beatles. He has recently incorporated a Lexicon Jam Man looper into his solo acoustic shows, allowing him to sound like multiple guitarists onstage.
Tommy has recorded and produced a string of albums including "Chrysalis" with Stephanie Todd, a collection of acoustic pieces called "Whatever," "Pocketful of Pesos" featuring Tommy on guitar, bass and vocals, and a 24-track compilation of his material called "King of the World."
An acoustic rock musician from Tempe, Arizona, Tommy is originally from southern Minnesota. He performed with rock bands throughout the '80s and '90s throughout the Midwest. Drawn to players as diverse as Michael Hedges, Neil Young and Jimmy Page, Tommy has blended styles and influences into his own unique style of acoustic rock.
Tommy has been greatly influenced by Michael Hedges, The Beatles, Adrian Belew, David Gilmour, Jimmy Page, Pete Townshend, Mark Knopfler, Stevie Wonder and Todd Rundgren, as well as by many local artists.
