Whether it's a friend, a family member, or a neighbor, we all know someone who has been touched by cancer. Many of us are concerned about this disease and want to do something to make a difference. That's why Ringo has decided to support the American Cancer Society Relay For Life®. It's an event that brings together the whole community and helps raise funds for the fight against cancer. The event will be at Arizona State University's Sun Angel Stadium on April 18 starting at 8:00pm and ending at 8:00am on April 19. Ringo will be playing on Friday, April 18, from [UPDATE] 9:00 to 11:00pm 10:00pm to 12:00am.
At the event, participants will camp out overnight, walk around the track, and meet lots of new people. There is an incredible tribute to cancer survivors and caregivers that starts off the night and a moving ceremony honoring those who have fought the disease. Personalized luminarias line the track, honoring survivors and remembering those lost to cancer. It's a night full of fun, hope, and remembrance. It will be a memorable experience.
I hope you will consider joining us. You can get more information about Relay For Life and the American Cancer Society, as well as donate if you wish, by clicking here. Thank you.
On Tuesday, April 22, Ringo will be playing [UPDATE] from 5:30 to 8:00pm for the City of Tempe Earth Day celebration at the new Tempe Center for the Arts at 700 W Rio Salado Parkway in Tempe.
